Morocco Tour Cancellation Policies: Check Before Paying

Know which cancellation window applies to your experience, how refund requests work and what happens after a refund is issued.

Read the policy for the specific experience

There is no single cancellation window for every Morocco Services tour. The host’s listing specifies flexible, moderate, limited or firm cancellation, and the booking stores the applicable policy. Check that policy before paying, especially if flights, group plans or another reservation may change.

The summary on the booking and checkout pages helps you review the main conditions. The full Cancellation & Refund Policy explains requests, timing and special circumstances. Mandatory consumer rights that apply to your situation remain applicable.

Understand the four cancellation windows

For a paid booking, the current platform rules use the time remaining until the scheduled start in Africa/Casablanca local time:

  • Flexible: 100% refund eligibility at least 24 hours before the start; 50% before the start when fewer than 24 hours remain.
  • Moderate: 100% at least 5 days before; 50% before the start within 5 days.
  • Limited: 100% at least 14 days before; 50% from 7 days up to, but not including, 14 days. Self-service cancellation is unavailable within 7 days.
  • Firm: 100% at least 30 days before; 50% from 7 days up to, but not including, 30 days. Self-service cancellation is unavailable within 7 days.

Refund percentages apply to the amount paid for the booking. After the scheduled start, self-service cancellation is unavailable. Contact support if there is a problem requiring review, rather than treating the absence of a cancellation button as a decision on every possible claim.

Use your booking’s cancellation action

Before the permitted deadline, open your booking in your account and choose the cancellation action. Select a reason and add relevant details where requested. An unpaid booking can be withdrawn before its scheduled start without a payment refund, because no completed payment has been recorded for it.

Keep the booking reference and any relevant messages. If the action is unavailable or the host cannot provide the agreed experience, contact Morocco Services support. Do not assume that sending the host an informal message automatically changes the platform’s booking status.

Separate refund eligibility from bank processing

When a paid cancellation qualifies for a refund, the platform creates a request for administrative review. The cancellation screen does not itself transfer money to your bank. The team must issue the approved refund through the payment processor to the original payment method.

Stripe says card refunds typically appear about 5–10 business days after issuance, depending on the bank. This is a processor estimate, not a guarantee and not the time counted from your initial support request. Ask support to confirm issuance and the amount if you need to track a refund. Currency conversion can also affect the amount displayed by your bank.

Choose a booking that suits your plans

Compare the current rules on the Marrakech Walking Tour and Casablanca City Tour pages, or browse all experiences. More restrictive cancellation can matter when an itinerary is uncertain, even if two tours otherwise seem similar.

For payment details, read the Payment Policy. Stripe’s official refund information explains processor and bank timing. Your booking’s stored policy, the full platform policy and applicable law govern your particular request.
